All the rooms are equipped with a computer with an Ubuntu operating system (Linux). Speakers are encouraged to bring their presentations in pdf format on a USB drive. The use of personal computers is not allowed.
The speakers are required to be present at least 10 minutes before the starting time of the session to save the presentation in the computer and introduce itself to the session chair. In case of consecutive sessions, it is recommended to arrive before the first session.
Most sessions last 80 minutes with 4 presentations. Therefore, in order to have enough time for questions and transition between presentations, it is recommended to prepare your presentations for 15-17 minutes, even when the number of presentations is less than 4. If the number of speakers is 5, the time per presentation is reduced to 12-14 minutes. The presentations of the SEIO-FBBVA awards session will have a duration of 7 minutes.
The session chairs will ensure compliance with the start and end times, and that the presentations follow the order established in the official scientific program. In case the session chair is not present, the first speaker will act as the session chair. The session chair is in charge of checking that the speakers' presentations are correctly saved in the computer, as well as as informing the speaker when their presentation time is running out (5 minutes and 1 minute).
Thank you, for your collaboration
