Dan Felsenthal (Homo Oeconomicus 33, 367-381 (2016)) argues that all previous
suggested indices of a priori P-power for n-simple games violate one or more
postulates that he considers compelling for a reasonable P-power index, and proposes
a new index which satisfies all these postulates. He also mentions that his proposed
index may not be unique. The purpose of this work is threefold:
We propose for it an axiomatic characterization.
We do a critical analysis on the list of `compelling postulates’ he considers.
We face an impossibility theorem regarding the existence of a reasonable P-
power index.
