Análisis topológico de imágenes etiquetadas representando una partición del plano.

El proceso de segmentación de una imagen microscópica de tejido epitelial generalmente produce una partición de la imagen en diferentes regiones. En trabajos anteriores se ha realizado un análisis topológico de la organización de las células en estas imágenes, en los que, implícitamente, se realiza una aproximación de las regiones de las células por las regiones de Voronoi de sus centroides. Nosotros proponemos un enfoque alternativo: consideramos el grafo de contacto (centroides como vértices y regiones vecinas como aristas) y construimos una filtración sobre el complejo simplicial inducido por dicho grafo, considerando la intersección de bolas crecientes centradas en los centroides con las propias regiones. Esta idea se inspira en la forma en que se construyen los complejos alfa, donde se consideran las intersecciones de las bolas con las regiones de Voronoi correspondientes. Comparamos los barcodes obtenidos por ambos enfoques y analizamos las ventajas de esta nueva aproximación.

Tomorrow, Thursday, we will visit the Alhambra. 1. At 7:00 p.m., buses will start leaving from the door of the Hotel Granada Center (in front of the door of the Faculty of Sciences) 2.
