Análisis del efecto financiero del seguro privado de dependencia a partir de datos de la Encuesta Financiera de las Familias de 2017

Se analiza y cuantifica la importancia de los seguros privados de dependencia. Se propone un modelo económico-financiero de evolución del consumo y del déficit de renta. La supervivencia/dependencia se modeliza mediante un proceso de Markov con técnicas de simulación estocástica para obtener distribuciones de variables aleatorias. A partir de los datos de la Encuesta Financiera de las Familias de España, se clasifican las familias españolas mediante un análisis clúster para el periodo de desacumulación de la riqueza. Se concluye que, para una familia genérica, la contratación de un seguro de dependencia provoca una reducción significativa de la probabilidad de falta de liquidez, de la media del primer momento de falta de liquidez (si se produce) y del valor medio actual de las necesidades globales de liquidez. Estos resultados muestran que la contratación de un seguro de dependencia disminuiría considerablemente los problemas financieros en el periodo de desacumulación.
