Comparación descriptiva de varias escalas de medición a través de diferentes estimadores de dispersión. Análisis empírico

Al analizar magnitudes con valores intrínsecamente imprecisos es habitual recurrir al empleo de escalas tipo Likert. Sin embargo, a lo largo de las últimas décadas, también se han considerado algunas alternativas como la escala visual analógica (EVA) o escalas difusas (en concreto, la escala lingüística “fuzzy” (FL) o la escala de valoración “fuzzy” libre (FRS)).
En este estudio se realiza un análisis descriptivo comparativo centrado en la variabilidad/dispersión asociada a la magnitud en función de la escala de medición considerada. Se han realizado simulaciones realistas de las respuestas que daría un encuestado si simultáneamente se le aplicaran cuestionarios en una escala Likert, en una escala lingüística difusa, en una escala visual analógica y en una escal valoración “fuzzy” libre. De esta forma, con las respuestas disponibles en las diferentes escalas, se calcula el valor de los diferentes estimadores de dispersión y se compara entre las escalas.
