Revisión del estadístico de las marcas en parámetros asociados a las tablas 2x2

La comparación de dos proporciones independientes p1 y p2 a través de las medidas diferencia, razón y odds ratio, es muy frecuente en diversos ámbitos. Las inferencias sobre estos parámetros suelen utilizar estadísticos asintóticos basados en el estadístico de las marcas (S), que no corrigen el sesgo del estimador del producto pi(1-pi). Por ello Miettinen y Nurminen propusieron los estadísticos MN consistentes en multiplicar los estadísticos S por (N-1)/N, con N el tamaño total de muestra. En este trabajo se demuestra que el factor (N-1)/N es el correcto solo para el test de homogeneidad, proporcionándose la estimación del factor correcto (estadísticos AU) y del valor mínimo del mismo (estadísticos AUM). Además se evalúa el comportamiento de los cuatro estadísticos aludidos en los test de 1/2 colas para cada uno de los tres parámetros citados. La conclusión es que los mejores estadísticos son los de tipo AUM, seguidos a gran distancia por los de tipo MN (similares a los de tipo AU).

Visit Alhambra
Tomorrow, Thursday, we will visit the Alhambra. 1. At 7:00 p.m., buses will start leaving from the door of the Hotel Granada Center (in front of the door of the Faculty of Sciences) 2. Upon arrival, groups with guides will be organized. 3. There will be groups in English language. These groups will wait at the destination until the arrival of all buses. 4. After the visit to the Alhambra we will walk to the Carmen de los Mártires to have a cocktail. 5. On the way back, we can go back by bus, which will leave from the same place where they left us at the Alhambra. 6. Although the way to the Alhambra by bus seems long, it really is close to the city. We invite you, whoever wishes, to go down for a pleasant walk. 7. Do not forget to take your Alhambra ticket and your identity card or passport. The document must be the same whose number matches the ticket number you have.
